Lovely dark garnet color with a beautiful shine. Good aromatic intensity. The nose is very fresh with notes of small red and black fruits on a mineral and smoky background (marl limestone). Well delineated, fresh and fruity on the palate. Good structure and balance, the tannins are present but fine. Persistent finish ending on the fruitiness and mineral freshness. Sleek and sinuous, with intertwined stony minerality and crunchy red fruit on the vibrant, barely medium-bodied palate. Blood-orange freshness lights up the long, dangerously refreshing finish. From a site over 350 meters above sea level with eastern exposure. Some whole-cluster. Sustainable. Drink or hold. A mix of sweet spices and fruit, this red evokes sandalwood, cardamom, cherry and strawberry flavors, all aligned with a supple texture and solid structure. A line of chalky tannins informs the finish, along with an echo of cherry. Best from 2028 through 2040.
