60% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir (8% vin rouge). Assemblage 70% 2019, 30% reserve wine 2014-2018. Village/vineyard: Fleury-la-Rivière, Damery. Sandy soils with clay and limestone. Elevage in stainless steel. Ageing sur latte for 25 months. A blended rosé of 85% Meunier and 15% Pinot Noir (8% of which is red wine) coming from 2022, with 30% reserve wine from 2021, in the glass, the NV Champagne Brut Rosé has a bright and saturated pink hue. Ripe strawberries and crushed red berries, with a touch of volatility, are followed by notes of preserved grapefruit and flinty, wet stones. Medium-bodied, it's savory and mouthwatering on the palate and more citrus-driven and pithy in texture, with a hint of frothy mousse and a clean, salty finish. A well-cut Champagne, with a lively mousse and a chalk-tinged, minerally overtone, this offers a juicy mix of pureed raspberry, nectarine, grated ginger and almond biscotti notes.
