Led by the New Mexico born singer songwriter guitarist Raul Midon and talented multi-instrumentalist John Fournier, Dos Alma's fuses jazz, folk and Latin elements into a fresh new sound. Blinded at birth, Midon became a popular session singer for Latin recording artists Shakira, Julio Iglesias and Jose Feliciano, before embarking upon a very successful solo career which is still in the ascendant. Sax, flute and keyboard player Fournier is now a mainstay in Chicago's burgeoning new music scene. Dos Alma's offers a glimpse into the enormous talent of these two rising stars whose unique take on a variety of influences revealed a musical maturity that few possess so early in their career.
