Resembling clover, Desmodium (Desmodium Adscendens (SW.) DC.) is una A wild, perennial plant with multiple leaves, native to West Africa. It is also widespread in Latin America (Brazil, Peru, the Amazon region) and throughout the humid equatorial regions. Desmodium was introduced to France in the 1970s (and its successor), leading to the launch of numerous scientific research projects on its detoxifying and protective properties. Today, the use of desmodium leaves is recognized, particularly to support liver function. Drawing on their experience in phytotherapy, Arkopharma Laboratories have developed a specially developed Arkogelules desmodium: arkototum, allowing to return 100% of the active ingredients of the plant, preserving its quality and integrity.
